Listed amounts, not purchase prices.County list: Oct 2 · Map: Oct 7 · Paid/hold checked Oct 7A note from Brad
A quick note from me: I put this together to make the county’s tax sale a little easier to explore. Their spreadsheet listed legal descriptions like “LT 10 JACKSON ST” instead of street addresses, and the auction map was missing 716 items. I matched the sale items with county property records, GIS parcels, and posting photos to help you see what’s actually for sale.

The county’s published October 2, 2026 sale spreadsheet contains 1,564 items: 1,368 real-estate accounts and 196 mobile-home accounts. Owners, descriptions, account numbers, tax years, deed references, districts and amounts are preserved from that list, downloaded October 7.
Property records and photos: Street addresses, assessed values, owner mailing addresses, posting photos and paid/hold flags come from the county’s PostingPro property records (Palmetto Posting), matched to the sale list by exact tax-map number and ownership suffix and retrieved October 7. Paid and hold flags were last rechecked October 7. Photos were taken when the property was posted and may not show its current condition. Cities and ZIP codes come from the U.S. Census Bureau geocoder.
Site checks: Each county parcel is screened against Anderson County GIS layers retrieved October 7: FEMA special flood hazard areas, county road centerlines, recorded access easements, zoning and land use. “No mapped road” means no county-mapped road lies within about 100 feet of the parcel line. The parcel may still have access by a private drive or easement, or it may be landlocked. These are screening aids, not a survey or title search.
My list, auction sheet and auction mode: Star items, set a max bid and add notes. They are saved only in this browser. The auction sheet lists your items in item order for printing or download. Auction mode follows the item being called and shows your upcoming items and max bids. The redemption calculator applies S.C. Code §12‑51‑90: 3%, 6%, 9% or 12% of the bid depending on when the owner redeems, capped at the opening bid.
Sale status: “Still listed” hides items that PostingPro marks Paid, Hold or Installment. Those flags can change daily and are not an official withdrawal list, so use the Sale status filter to see them and confirm with the county before the sale.
Pins are reference locations, not surveyed boundaries or confirmed entrances. Dashed pins are approximate: placed from an exact street-address match because no posting location was available. Mobile-home pins do not imply that the underlying land is included in the sale. Item categories follow the county’s real-estate and mobile-home account series.
Property-type icons and parcels: Mobile-home accounts use a mobile-home icon. Real-estate items are matched by exact tax-map number to the Anderson County GIS, retrieved October 7. A parcel with one or more recorded buildings shows as Home / building, and one with none shows as Vacant land / lot. County records can lag demolition or new construction, and a building may be a garage, shed or commercial structure. Unconfirmed means no current county parcel was found. The GIS also supplies each parcel’s current county market value, acreage and outline; zoom in to see outlines. Use the property-type selector in a listing to add your own label, saved only in this browser.
AI-assisted research pilot: Twenty then-unmatched items were reviewed on October 7. Nine had possible address leads from secondary property records, and all nine agree with the street address in the PostingPro record that was retrieved later. Eleven remained unresolved. The Research pilot panel contains those saved results.
Live AI research: On the hosted website, select an item without a location and use “Research with AI.” The selected public county record is sent to OpenAI to search public property sources. Results and source links are saved on this website for seven days and shared with other visitors. AI findings remain suggestions; they do not replace county fields, assign property types or add verified map pins. Daily request limits apply.
Maps in previews: A USGS street overview and aerial overview are embedded in this file and work without outside image requests. Detailed live map tiles load on top when available. The saved maps are regional overviews, not street-level or parcel-level imagery; open the downloaded file in a normal browser or use the linked county and Google maps for closer research. USGS imagery capture dates vary; October 7 is the retrieval date.
Listed amounts are not purchase prices or final bids. This is a fixed snapshot, not a live availability feed. Verify current sale status and terms with Anderson County.
Auction: October 19, 2026, approximately 9 a.m. at the Civic Center of Anderson, 3027 Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd. Doors open at 8 a.m.
Anderson County’s tax sale list is accurate about one thing: what is owed. It does not tell you where most properties are, what is on them, or whether they are still for sale. This page puts that information back. Here is what was wrong, what I did about it, and how to use the result.

Your list, max bids and notes stay in this browser. Item order follows the county list; confirm with the auctioneer.
Twenty varied items from the no-location list were researched. These are saved findings for review.
Possible addresses are leads from secondary records, not county-verified locations. Source links, conflicts and remaining checks appear in each item. Original sale records and map pins are preserved.
This panel is the saved October 7 pilot, run before the PostingPro property records were matched. Use the Research with AI button inside an unmatched item to request a new lookup on the hosted website.
