ABOUT THIS MAP

Greenville Tax Sale Explorer

Created by Brad Shortridge.

All 1,460 items come from your uploaded tax-sale list. Amounts and listed owners are preserved from that snapshot, captured October 7, 2026.

1,235 mapped itemsMatched to 1,234 distinct county parcels. Two list items share a parcel.225 without a location223 have no parcel number; 2 parcel numbers were not found in the county GIS.

Addresses, property types, estimated acreage, building details and parcel outlines come from Greenville County GIS, retrieved October 7, 2026. Pins mark a point inside each matched parcel; they do not mark a building or entrance. GIS site addresses may omit street suffixes.

Amounts are taxes due, not asking prices or final bids. This is a fixed research snapshot, not a live availability feed. Confirm each item’s current status and sale terms with the county. Parcel records may describe the underlying land differently from the item being sold.

Live list check: The county’s online sale list is compared with the October 7 snapshot. Items that no longer appear on it, which are most often paid or withdrawn, are marked “No longer on county list” and hidden unless you change Sale status. That includes every item in the snapshot without a parcel number (items 91000 and up).

My list, auction mode and redemption calculator: Star items, set a max bid and add notes. They are saved only in this browser. Print your list or download it in item order, or follow the sale in auction mode. The calculator applies S.C. Code §12‑51‑90: the owner who redeems pays 3%, 6%, 9% or 12% of the bid depending on timing, capped at the opening bid. Greenville adds the current year’s taxes to the starting bid, so the real opening bid and the cap are higher than the listed amount due.

A note from Brad

A quick note from me: I put this together to make Greenville County’s tax sale a little easier to explore. The county’s list links each item to its own property record with the location, acreage and value, but that means opening more than a thousand separate pages, with no map and no way to compare them. I pulled it all together with county GIS parcels so you can see everything on one map, and I check the list against the county’s live sale list so items that have been paid drop out.

Tap ☆ on any property to save it. Your saved properties are under ★ My list at the top of the page, ready to print or follow on auction day.

Feel free to share this with anyone who might find it useful. Enjoy!

HOW THIS MAP WORKS

From a county list to a map you can use

Greenville County’s sale list shows each item’s map number, owner and amount due, and links to a separate county record for every property. The information is public, but it is scattered across more than a thousand pages with no map, no filters and no way to compare. This page brings it together. Here is what I did and how to use it.
